Hi batchmates, miss you all, now lang me nakapagopen, isa pa lang na read ko, ang kay chit at im so glad sa mga magagandang PLANO ninyo this year at ang mga pagtutulungan kakailanganin to realize all your dreams... then i open the other one which is this forwarded message to me na NOVENA FROM MOTHER TERESA... i was so touched upon reading its message, so comforting, so hopeful that caress my cold spirit of the dreams and plans i seem not to realize and no hope of being realized...that's why almost instinctively i would love to share, thanks to my halfsister from whom this novena came...as i felt the hope and its comforting message to my spirit, may you feel that also as your guiding star towards the realization of whatever PLAN AND DREAMS you all my batchmates still wants to accopmplish...MY PRAYERS WITH YOU ALL...chit, you can make it...GOD BE WITH US FOR ALWAYS AND LET ALL OUR PLANS ATTUNED TO GOD'S PLAN, ALL FOR US TO WITNESS HIS GLORY. Amen to that Jaylo. Mother Theresa was a small person but she had touched so many lives

worldwide. I was given the opportunity to witness what she had created in Calcutta, Home

for the Dying, the place where the poor of the poorest where brought to be cared for and

loved before they die. It was a humbling experience for me. Only someone that was called

by God, humbled herself, and loved those who needed to be loved. She was an amazing

human being. God bless.

Chit kung marami kayong gusto pumunta rito bakit hindi na lang tayo gumawa ng mini reunion dito para may dahilan akong mailalagay sa aking invitation. Plus mas mura ang fare kung in group kayong lalakad. Ang alam ko yon mga taga San Pedro na ka batchmates natin sina Precy, Baby, Glo, Isay at Meding ay parang gusto rin pumunta. Kaya pakitanong mo lang para sa pag lagay ko ng mga names ninyo. Kailan nyo gusto pumunta rito? This summer ay darating yon 2 sisters ko plus a close family friend. Ang application fee pala to get tourist visa pa Canada ay 7000 pesos each (base from last year application ng sister ni Efren) plus kailangan din other supporting papers like your employment certifcate at saka yon confirmation of your round trip ticket from travel agency. In our side naman padadalhan ko kayo ng Notarized invitation letter to be submitted to Canadian High Cimmssioner, our photo copy ng amin citizenship certficate at photo copy ng passport, at efren employment certificate. Ito lahat ang kailangan susubmit nyo sa Embassy.

Yong niece and nephew namin ay umuwi last Nov 30 pa pabalik sila ngayon 16 ng Jan.

Kung gusto mo isama ang anak at pamangkin mo pakilagay mo rin ang pangalan nila kaya lang I can't guarantee kung mabibigyan sila ng visa. Who know try natin. Kung wala naman ibang sasama sa atin batchmates, igawa ko na lang kayo invitation to you and your family plus Digna.

Chit/Digna...For those planning to come to Canada as a tourist, yo will need to apply for a

Visa from the Canadian Embassy, from what I heard it is quicker if the person you are

visiting writes a "Letter of Invitation", inviting you to visit them, this letter is then taken to

the Embassy with your Visa Application, the Embassy wants to make sure that a Canadian

citizen will be responsible for you while you are here just in case mayroong mangyari and

the tourist will not be a burden on the Canadian govt. I also believe that you will have to

show them some amt. in your bank acct. Go on the Canadian website and read what is

required for coming as a tourist. Good luck, I will also ask around kung paano.

Hi Digna...Kamusta din sa iyo. Salamat naman sa maganding critic mo. I am not sure of

the date pa, kasi I have to wait till my parents have done all their doctor appts., kasi

marami na rin silang nararamdaman. My parents want to make sure their health is in order

before leaving for the Philippines kasi mahirap na kung magkasakit sa Phil. mahal

masyado ang doctor. I wil let you know siguro mas close to Feb. kaysa sa Jan.

Hi Cora/Digna...Iknow some of the Filipina nurses that are here working a live-in

caregiver, they came thru the Domestic/live-in caregiver. Whaat they do is they find a

family that will hire them directly thru the Canadian Human Resources Centre. I will ask

around my friends if they know of any family. I just hired a Filipina nurse as a live-in

caregiver for my best friends father, kaya lang nandito na siya, i month pa land her relative

hired her as a live-in nanny and then released her contract after one month. I will try.

Chit/Digna, I am not sure if you need to have a certificate as a caregiver, if you have a

nursing background this should be enough, I believe what is important is the family that

will sponsor you. Why don't you google, Canadian govt. requirement for live-in caregiver.

Hi Cora...I have one son, 18 yrs, old, first yr. college, Criminology. We usually visit my sister-in-law in the summer only a few days, kasi ang maga puti they don't like to stay long when visiting relatives, weekend lang tama na. Why don;t you come and see us, it is beautiful naman pag long driving papunta dito, hindi ba 10 hrs. lang? Let me know para I can prepare my schedule ahead of time. Yes I likegoing for coffee int he morning, pag day off ko my husband and I go for a walk to the cafe and he buys me coffee.
