yes josie the family unit tis the very essence of our life.especially us

filipinos who has a very close family unit wether here or abroad.wether

it is a whole or broken family it is up to us parents or any responsible

member of the family to keep the family united.it is one thing that some

foreigners find it amazing about us.they might ridicule us or make fun

of us .i read an article about a late night show in america i think john

leno show about us sending money to the philippines or putting rosary in

the front mirror of the car.they made joke about us.but i am proud to be

a filipino.yes i have a rosary hanging in front mirror of my car.i am

not ashamed to it put as i am proud to display for everyone to see that

i am a catholic.it made me angry when i read it but then they do not

know us filipinos.

Thanks for the prayer,Jaylo. God is good and HE never

leave us nor forsake us. He guides and protects us and

is with us as we call on His name. I really believe

that He has plans for all of us and it is to prosper

us bless us. May we all feel His love and claim for

His unconditional love.

To all of us who are away from our love ones,

families and friends, we are never too far away. We

communicate through e-mails, phones and texts.

Paeng actually is the closest to home because

Macronesia is not that far from Philippines.

Happy New Year to all of you and look! 2008 will be

the best year so far.

belated happy birthday to you cora.last 28th of dec.was the 1st death

anniversay of my nephew.nandoon ang kapatid ko who arrive from here and

the one who arrived from germany.si ate lily(asawa ni kuya mando na

sister in law mo) ang nag lead ng rosary.hindi man kami naka uwi noong

mamatay siya, but we made sure na someone one from us will be present

noong babang luksa niya.naandoon din si lisa na anak ni kuya mando.best

friend ni lisa si leny na asawa ng pamangkin ko.sabihin mo kay efren

nanadoon halos lahat ang mga kamag anak natin na puro mga taga

looban.siguro eh hindi na niya kilala ang iba doon.anyway all the best

ang may6be one day we will come and visit you there.yabang ano.take

Talagang ubod na ng daming tao sa looban. Walang naiiba doon puro Alcabasa. Last January ay umuwi kami ni Daddy nagtaka nga kami dahil ang daming napadagdag na pamangkin (actually anak na ng mga pamangkin). Kinulang ang papasko namin dahil nga sa mga bagong pisa (baby). Hintayin namin kayo na bumisita rito sa Canada. Just give me a call or email me. Summer lang Auntie at baka ma frozen ang beauty nyo rito kung winter.

henia, dont worry.parang jungle naman ang backyard ko sa dami ng

halaman.even my daugther said so.i am the only one who looks after the

plants.cant afford a gardener.used to be vegetable garden iyon and

herbs.so i pulled them all ang planted flowering plants instead.kasi

eh nabubulok lang ang prutas..walang kumain.ipamigay mo man sa

kapitbahay eh mayroon din sila as everyone here has vegetable

patch.with all those flowers i never cut any to put in the vase.mas

maganda sila sa puno where they belong not inside my house in the

vase.it may sound crazy..yesterday i bought another plants in the

sunday market.addict na yata ako sa kabibili ng halaman.let me know if

the parcel i sent you arrive.anyway happy new year.

aabang sa mailman. Ha ha ha ha. Thank you na, ahead of

time. Next year ka pa tatanggap ng Christmas from San

Diego. Ha ha ha again.

Pero sa totoo lang,maganda ang maraming halaman. Lalo

kong may mababangong tulad ng sayong mga puno. Yong

dama de noche mo, all year ba yon? Kahit may snow,

hindi ba sila namamatay?

Eugenia: Nakakataba naman ng puso ang pagbati mo; Okay , I will say thank you/ may pasok ako sa birthday ko pero okay lang kasi pupunta ako sa snow sa Big Bear . I will park the car where the line of snow starts and i will walk up the mountain; I will send pictures and hope di ka ginawin sa picture; Shirley when she came here, gusto ko sana ipasyal sa Big Bear para feel at home siya.. Whaaaa! I love to walk and fall in the snow. It resembles cleanliness and purity. I remember both you and Shirley being scared of the stove burner both are on. Just pretend I am just cooking and it is the same. You OC's. (OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE). I have one patient, she has left breast removal , so i cannot use it for IV start. I said , so you have left breast removal and I cannot use the left and she answered right. No . the left I said. And she said right , No you have left breast removal. It just went on and on.I just want to make her laugh, kayo naman.

Thanks a lot Shirley and Marilyn on your sincerest advise. I know it will not work for now and time will really tell. The rest , just wonder what we are talking about but do not worry , when the time is ripe, I will tell you all. Should I? Or should'nt ? I will just keep you guessing/ , Pero alam kong tatanungin ako nitong si Eugenia. But I will keep my self control.

This is story told to us this morning after the mass which is about family. There is this war where the other one already surrender and they said they will surrender if they let the women and children go. Since the invader is already victorious, they agreed and they added women and children plus their most valued possession.. So the children, went out , followed by the mothers with their husband whom they carried on their backs. Family is important. We give ourselves as gift to our family. Just like the church, attending the mass or any religious celebration is a celebration of a family of God. Our presence is our gift to him to celebrate as one family. GANDA ANO?

Paeng, did you receive my chrristmas card? Baka di nakita ang isla ninyo kasi kalat kalat. I learn that samoans live somewhere there too. Their staple food is taro.

Shirley we live in the southwest of Edmonton Riverbend area. I'm not sure kung yun River View is part of the Riverside which is very close to us. I'm gonna check where Riverview is. In 2005 we visited Vancouver and we passed by Tsawwassen ( Ang hirap ipronounce nyang lugar nyo) going to Ferry Terminal to Victoria Island. We enjoyed our trip there for a week. Wish to visit your place again soon. Happy Birthday to you. Wish you and alll the January celebrants more birthday to come, prosperity and good health. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR CLASSMATES AND BATCHMATES.

Cors,

I understand the winter in Canada. I was there in

2003, Christmas time. I love the look of it but it is

very inconvenient. Fun to play with it for a very

short time, then it is tiring and wet.

Belated happy birthday to you. Ano bang handa? How

young are you na ba? Kamusta naman ang health mo?

Quite OK, I hope. No high blood pressure, no diabetes,

no high cholesterol, right? Let's all exercise and

stay healthy because as long as we are alive, it is

best to be in good shape to enjoy life.

Genia,

Thanks for the greeting. I'm 53 na :( About my health quite healthy although I have thalassimia, dito na natuklasan. Some of my red blood cells are irregular in shape plus I have always low hemoglobin counts which make me feel tired most of the time. Plus I have arthritic pain on my arms, fingers, knees and legs. Umiidad na talaga. No high blood presssure, no diabetes, no high cholesterol, di ba healthy? Yeah we really need to exercise for the good of our body and mind. Enjoy life while we still young and abled. Inshaallah.
